Naramata Centre Forever Dreaming ...
When you reach the glorious age of sixty, sometime things are actually worn out or hanging together by a thread (or the modern age duck tape). The Board is now strategizing about what's next. In the mean time, we continue to aspire to be good to the earth. We have many dreams. We would be ever so grateful for any or all of these to show up on our doorstep:
- new windows with screens that open in the McLaren Hall lobby
- gardens to grow our own vegetables
- two electric vehicles to replace our ancient gas guzzling service vans
- a simple, ecologically friendly monastic building for retreats (with a view?)
- an endowment to equip the next generation of leaders
- a dozen stand-up paddle boards
- a circus tent to hold 500 people
- a new foundation for the Children' s House
- a natural outdoor amphitheatre
- three TV style monitors for messages instead of paper
Come weave a dream for Naramata Centre.
