"Planned Giving" refers to the various ways that each of us can be deliberate about "leaving a legacy". It is about providing lasting support for the people, concerns and work we really care about after our death.

During the next ten years, our society will witness the greatest transfer of wealth and resources from one generation to the next in human history. For many of us, these resources will be disposed of in ways that do not reflect our interests or intent.

Naturally, we first want to take care of our families and loved ones. In addition, some 35% of Canadians say they also intend to make a planned gift to a charitable organization in their wills. The fact is that only 6% actually do it. The difference is because they either don't know how to arrange it or just never get around to it.

We want to invite you to consider being deliberate in making such a gift to Naramata Centre. We are asking you to do this because we believe the work being done at Naramata Centre is important and valuable, and because we know you care about it.

There are three main ways you can make a Planned Gift. In each case, such charitable donations usually also provide tax benefits that are advantageous to others who may be beneficiaries of an estate
