Team Leadership in Ministry

Are you part of a team? Do you share in the leadership of your congregation or other United Church of Canada organization? If so, we invite you and your team to come and build your capacity for team leadership. In churches and other organizations, staff models range from minister-and-secretary teams to multi-staff teams, but no matter what size they are, teams need ways to:

• Nurture relationships between individual team members                               
• Work through conflict, and
• Share responsibilties

This program will offer both time for learning in community and time for your team to be on its own. Please note that this program is not intended for teams in crisis. This program is designed to help teams - newly formed or long-standing - develop and deepen their team leadership in ministry.

Treena Duncan, Cindy Davenport & George Meier
Treena serves as BC Conference Personnel Minister,  Cindy Davenport is currently a Program Director at Naramata Centre, and George Meier is a Conference Minister for BC Conference. Treena, Cindy and George will be leading this program as a team.
